About Heart of the Lotus Yoga
Hi, I'm Karen.
I fell in love with yoga in 2012 when I first starting practising at a local gym. Originally a primary school teacher I now work part time in a special school combining that with my love of leading yoga groups.
I work alongside women, helping them journey to better physical and emotional health using movement and relaxation techniques.
I support women at all stages of their life but have a strong interest in helping women to navigate the time of menopause and post menopause.
Although my offerings are mainly orientated towards women, or those identifying as women, I welcome the opportunity to work with men who want to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their feminine energy.
In addition to my initial yoga teacher training I also hold qualifications in Special Yoga, Chair yoga, Women's Yoga Therapy, Teen yoga and Yoga Nidra (a form of deep relaxation).
